Terms & Conditions
These terms set out how Sevana Clean provides residential and commercial cleaning services, including bookings, pricing, access, payments, complaints, and consumer rights.
Definitions
“Sevana Clean”, “we”, “us”, “our” means the business trading as Sevana Clean under ABN 43 208 063 811.
“Client”, “you”, “your” means the person, company, or other entity that makes a booking for services.
“Services” means any cleaning services provided by Sevana Clean, as described in a booking confirmation, quote, service description, or applicable checklist.
“Property” means the premises at which the Services are to be carried out.
“Agreement” means the contract formed between Sevana Clean and the Client comprising these Terms and Conditions, together with the relevant booking details, quote, and any written variations agreed between the parties.
Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a booking request or confirming a booking by any means, including through our website, phone, email, text message, or social media, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you make a booking on behalf of a company, trust, partnership, or other entity, you warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to this Agreement.
These Terms apply to all Services unless otherwise agreed by Sevana Clean in writing.
Scope of Services
Sevana Clean provides professional cleaning services including, but not limited to:
- Residential cleaning
- Deep cleaning
- End-of-lease or vacate cleaning
- Office and commercial cleaning
- Airbnb and short-stay cleaning
The specific scope of each Service is determined by the service type booked and the associated checklist, quote, booking confirmation, or written description provided by Sevana Clean.
Any tasks outside the agreed scope are not included unless separately approved by Sevana Clean and may incur additional charges.
Pricing
Prices displayed on the Sevana Clean website, in advertising, or provided during an enquiry are indicative starting prices only and are based on standard property conditions and the information provided at the time of booking.
Final pricing may vary depending on property size, layout, room count, condition, level of dirt or build-up, add-on services, access limitations, time required, and whether additional labour is reasonably required.
If the actual condition of the Property materially differs from the description provided at booking, Sevana Clean may adjust the quoted price, revise the scope of work, or reschedule the Service.
All prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. The minimum booking value is $200 unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Booking Information
You must provide accurate and complete information when making a booking, including full name and contact details, property address, property size, room count, service type, access instructions, and any special requirements or site-specific issues.
If inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information is provided, Sevana Clean may adjust pricing, amend the scope of work, delay the Service, or reschedule the booking.
Property Condition and Service Adjustments
Standard pricing assumes that the Property is in a reasonably maintained condition consistent with the service booked.
If, upon arrival or during the Service, the Property is found to be in a materially different condition than described, Sevana Clean may apply a reasonable surcharge, adjust the scope of work, allocate additional time or staff at additional cost, pause the Service pending approval, or reschedule where necessary.
Access to Property
You must ensure that Sevana Clean has safe, timely, and unobstructed access to the Property at the agreed service time.
If access cannot be gained due to locked premises, incorrect access information, failure to provide keys, codes, instructions, or any other client-related reason, Sevana Clean may treat the booking as cancelled and charge a $100 call-out or cancellation fee.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled without charge if at least 24 hours’ notice is provided before the scheduled service time.
If a booking is cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled service time, Sevana Clean may charge a $100 cancellation fee.
Additional Work Requests and Variations
Any request for additional tasks outside the original scope of the booked Service is a variation.
Where reasonably practicable, Sevana Clean will provide a verbal or written price for additional work before proceeding.
Cleaning Supplies, Equipment, and Utilities
Unless otherwise agreed, Sevana Clean will provide the standard cleaning products and equipment required to perform the booked Services.
You must ensure that the Property has access to basic utilities required for the Services, including running water, electricity, and sufficient lighting.
Pets
For safety reasons, pets must be secured, supervised, or otherwise kept away from areas being cleaned during the Service.
Sevana Clean may refuse to work in any area where an animal presents a health or safety risk.
Damage, Risk, and Insurance
Sevana Clean maintains public liability insurance appropriate to its operations.
While Sevana Clean takes reasonable care in performing the Services, Sevana Clean is not responsible for loss or damage arising from pre-existing damage, deterioration, wear and tear, loose or defective fixtures, fragile or high-value items not secured by the Client, faulty materials, poor workmanship, or reasonable and unavoidable consequences of cleaning where the surface or item was already compromised.
Nothing in this clause limits any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Satisfaction Guarantee and Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with the Services, you must notify Sevana Clean within 24 hours of service completion and provide reasonable details of the issue.
Where the complaint relates to work within the original agreed scope of the Service, and the Property was accurately described at the time of booking, Sevana Clean may, acting reasonably, offer a return visit to address the relevant area within a reasonable time.
Our services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
Photography and Documentation
Sevana Clean may take before and after photographs of relevant areas of the Property for quality assurance, training, internal documentation, and dispute resolution purposes.
Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due at the time of booking, on the day of service, or immediately upon completion of the Service, as advised by Sevana Clean.
Unpaid Invoices
If an invoice remains unpaid after the due date, Sevana Clean may charge a reasonable late payment fee, suspend future bookings or recurring Services, and recover the outstanding amount through a debt recovery process or legal action.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sevana Clean’s liability arising out of or in connection with the Services is limited to re-supplying the relevant Services, paying the reasonable cost of having the relevant Services re-supplied, or refunding the amount paid for the relevant Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
Privacy
Sevana Clean collects, stores, and uses personal information for the purpose of providing Services, processing payments, communicating about bookings, managing customer relationships, and operating the business.
Subcontractors
Sevana Clean may engage employees, contractors, or subcontractors to perform some or all of the Services.
Force Majeure
Sevana Clean is not liable for any delay, rescheduling, or failure to perform the Services where the delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises in connection with the Services or these Terms, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith discussions.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
Changes to Terms
Sevana Clean may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be made available on the Sevana Clean website.
